But then we'd play USF. That would be even worse!

Buckeye fan, thanks for stopping back by our forum. I remember your kind words a couple months ago.

The whole West Virginia deal has been discussed a lot around here. I actually think it would be a good game though, unlike what many people around here think.

i think everyone knows that it would be a good game... but it wouldnt do a whole lot for recruiting.... I wish LSU could play a big "name" team...

Why is LSU getting screwed with West virginia?

It's hilarious to me how many people are looking past Ole Miss and Arkansas. Both teams are down, but they still have SEC talent and could very well beat us, especially considering our very conservative offense. Tennessee was going to play for the Roses in 2001, taking care of a lesser LSU team in the championship game on the way there. Oops, LSU pulled the rug from under their feet.

How many times has Ole Miss and/or Arkansas been a pain in our ass? To that, I say "Geaux to hell Ole Miss."

If we do make it to a bowl game, you better believe that our opponent is going to be jacked up to play us. Playing West Virgina or South Florida may not be the best matchup, but we better come to play regardless the opponent. How many "disappointed" teams have come up short in bowl games, negating all premature whining (and making the whining team look a fool).

I really don't want to play the Sugar Bowl either... If we win the rest of our games (big IF in the SEC,) we should be in the Orange with Miami. The Sugar wouldn't be bad, but how in the hell does WV get catapulted into the third best bowl? Can't they override the "traditional" conference tie-in for a more attractive bowl?

I thought they could. A Bama fan in Atlanta last week told me they were hoping the Orange Bowl would pick them if they went undefeated and got left out of the Rose. I said that would mean they were SEC Champs, thus obligated to go to the Sugar. He said not so. Does he know what he's talking about?

PS: I emailed him this week inquiring as to the identity of his male parentage, however, he has yet to respond.:hihi:

Come on 99, guys like that [and CALCO] need a place to post their would-be coach locker room speeches. They used to irritate me, then they made me mad, now I think they're kinda funny (if a tad bit sad too, depending on my mood.)

NOW GO OUT THERE ON TF AND GIVE IT A 110%, BLOOD SWEAT AND TEARS, TAKE IT ONE WEEK AT A TIME, AND WIN ONE FOR ALLEY...AND MCCLENDON....AND YA TITTLE...AND CECIL COLLINS!
