Auburn's AD along with the boosters that drove Tubby out are a bunch of idiots. I know this and I don't like Tubby as a person, but he is a good coach. I thought just maybe they had some big hire waiting in the wings so that they wouldn't look like total fools. I was wrong, they are total fools. I wonder how much they are paying Gene to come in and lead the program into a downward spiral? Bama and LSU are now the teams to beat in the West.

 

Who knows -- give him a few horses and talent might show. Most new head coaches struggle.

Yeah you can laugh now hypocrit. The last person who should be laughing is a bama fan who has gone thru Dubose,Franchione, Price and Shula. Maybe after we get rid of some PTB at Auburn and after a few disasters we too will again get a good coach toomeanwhile if I were a bama fan I would just shut the hell up!!

 

You are right my friend. It is the stupidest thing I have ever seen in my many years of being an Auburn fan. I'm embarrassed that we have such idiots in power. We just fired a good coach for this? Stupid doesn't describe it. Without raising a finger you guys just lost a competetor in the SEC West.

 

I know it hurts but you didn't seem to have any problem laughing while Bama went through hell so excuse me but I believe I will continue to laugh for quite a while. 36-0, no bowl game, losing record and just hired a loser coach.
