"Great arms" are accurate. Right now, Croyle has a "strong arm". Big difference.

Did anyone hear the interview with VY during the copetition???

When asked, "So who's it gonna be (or something along the lines as to what team would he mind playing for)? Houston, New Orleans or Tennessee?"

...VY laughed said "Houston" ...paused....then he said "Tennessee" and laughed then repeated, "Yeah, Houston and Tennessee". Quite obvious he intentionally left out the Aints.....and who can really blame him???

One of the big knocks on Young over the last couple of years was that he didn't have a strong enough arm. This and his funny deliver, as well as the possiblility that he may not be able to read NFL defenses.

Croyle does have a good arm, but I have spoken with two different scouts who feel that were Jamarcus Russell to declare for the draft, he'd have the strongest arm in the NFL. I know for a fact that Aaron Brooks can lob it 75+ yards.

I don't know about Brooks lobing it 75+:nope: ...the winner of last year's long through competition was Byron Leftwich, and I think he only threw it 74. Carson Palmer throws 73. With the wind at his back, Randall Cunningham threw it 80 one year.

It is a moot issue. With his bad arm, he will not compete.

Actually the longest pass in the NFL long distance competition was VInny Testerverde. I forgot how far it went, but VInny has thrown it the furthest.
The true test of arm strength is how hard and accurate you can throw from 20 to 40 yards. That is what made Elway and Marino great!

Considering I saw Rohan throw the ball from one knee at midfield and hit a guy standing at the back of the endzone(60+ yards) in his chest, I'd say Ro could easily throw the ball 75+ yards & Russell has an even stronger arm. Fox showed this when Ro was playing for the NFLE Championship game a couple of years ago.
