If that's in the NCAA rule books, it's news to me. The link to the Tweet. The link to the snippet from the interview.
I'm indifferent about this, sorta. One good thing about allowing it would be to allow that second tier athlete opportunity for recognition towards possible scholarships but I guess I lean more towards everyone staying in their lane. One thing Hal needs to learn is not to bad mouth our coach if he wants to be welcomed in our State. I bet Coach Oeaux could whip dat ass.
I guess the wall is going up in Louisiana. Nice Guess he could have a camp in Monroe if he wanted though...
Is undecided a better word than indifferent here? IE: I can see this being counterproductive with some high school coaches if they have kids that could have benefitted. I have been watching this story and I suspect we're going to see more "moral outrage" written by some of those who considered all the hoopla around Harbaugh and his satellite camps to be taking opportunities away from kids (if the camps were eliminated.) I hope that this makes the NCAA look more closely at their latest legislation on camps. It's absolutely asinine to restrict high school coaches to work in college camps. I'm surprised we haven't seen a lawsuit filed against the NCAA by some high school coaches for interfering with their rights to make money. One thing I do believe is this move by Orgeron is wasted energy.
Wait...is he accusing LSU of using its influence to prevent Belhaven from holding a camp in Louisiana? Belhaven? Belhaven?
