It's not the loss that stings. It's knowing that LSU pays people to watch film and gameplan with the benefit of a bye week, and they came up with......that. This is what we fired Miles for? Two shutouts at home?

The warning signs have been there. This offense ranked #86 going in. Vegas was right to disrespect this team with a 14 point spread. In fact, they were too nice.

Then they don't know much about football, hamstring injuries or Leonard Fournette.

Well, I'm just as frustrated this morning as I was after the game last night. I hate to say it, but Alabama this year may just be Saban's best team ever. I really don't think I'm overstating it. I don't see anyone beating them. Look at how strong they are on both sides of the ball. Sure, their kicking game may be weak; however, who sees any of their remaining games coming down to the kicking game? In any case, maybe we can hope that Saban retires soon...

It might be lame; however, it's the truth.

And it was a drop back pass play instead of shotgun formation.

You’re right, but that last sentence is unnecessary and will just promote another hostile response. Sometimes on forums, people aren’t reading every thread, or going back numerous responses to piece it together. Give the guy a break:)

I am no football guru, that is for sure. That said, were I to be a coach I would make it my business to devour the Gumps' films to devise an individual approach to their unique set of strengths/weaknesses.

What I saw last night was hapless, completely unoriginal, with virtually no variation in execution. Does our Offensive Playbook really only contain six or so plays? How many times does the pocket have to collapse, with JB exiting same, without there having been a dump off/shovel pass to any eligible receiver? (I saw that once only). Poor JB was running for his life all night.

And on our last drive, in the Red Zone (!), JB had a huge open lane to the end zone as he scrambled right; instead of taking it he kept looking for a receiver. Where is the adaptability here?

That game was something tough to watch. Truly, a sumbitch. Fo' schizzle.

Regardless, if we can regroup we can still have a 10/2 season; look who we've taken out already! (that would be you, Georgia)--not so bad for a team that seems to always be "in development"....

    GEAUX TIGERS!

If you knew jack shit about football you run that play from under center to make them think it's a run, which they were of couse expecting, so they keep the defense close to the line. Had the tackle blocked better the play worked you and other idiots here would have said E is a great OC.
