But that is my point, the guys we have on the OLine were ALSO recruited by the big boyz. They aren't getting better and that is a reflection of coaching.

Hopefully, in time this new OL coach proves better. I can agree with this point. Our receivers definitely need better coaching, the way they catch is inexcusable.

Craig has done a pretty good job this year. Losing Engram was huge. Idiot. I would say I hope I never see his name again but we will probably see him playing in Crimson in a few seasons. He really let his teammates down. Right now LSU has to win every game from here on out and finish in the top 10 so we can lock this state down. Everything depends on the 2019 class.

That being said, I thought Patrick Queen did a pretty damn good job filling in for Devin, 8 is gonna be good, we should be happy there and I also thought Todd Harris was better than John Battle. Harris took some poor angles on some runs but he was making plays too, not bad for his first real action.

I mean, aren't the Ingram charges from when he was in high-school? Or that summer after? it all sounds like he was dating a chick under age, however CPS didn't report until a year later or something like that.

I think the issues with recruiting, including Bama "taking all of our guys" is the biggest red herring of all. Auburn has beaten Bama a couple of times since we have and their recruiting isn't any better than ours, in fact, it's worse.

Simply put, our failures is as an entire offense. Coaching, development, game planning, all of it. We have no problems with talent on offense. Now, on Saturday you may have seen the results of all of the defections last year, but that doesn't explain 2016 when we were loaded on offense and didn't score a point....it's coaching

So to be clear, I agree with you 100%

I am right here with you brother!

People wanna run around and act like this year was an anomaly.

    2013: 284 total yards.. 43 rush yards....
    2014: 259 Total yards... 76 passing yards
    2015: LF7: 19 carries for 31 yards.... 182 total yards
    2016: 125 TOTAL YARDS.....
2017: 306 total yards but massive redzone failures
    2018: LOL

I guess we haven't had talent in 5+ years!

The 2016 offense was LOADED. A bunch of those guys are in the NFL right now. So no, it's not talent and it's not recruiting....

In your opinion what is it? One thing I haven't seen mentioned is our strength & conditioning program. I would think it has to be a factor.

Tommy Moffit has the reputation as being one of the best. Other strength coaches visit him to learn from him. Maybe he is washed up.
