I am definitely enjoying this season. It's so fun to watch this defense. And to watch us manhandle people up front is refreshing too with the running game.
I agree. We haven't even started SEC play yet but I think the similarities between our championship teams and this squad are pretty obvious. This team seems to have great chemistry. Strong from the inside out. Experienced but still young enough to be really hungry. It already seems hilarious that there was only one all-sec first teamer. I think tiger fans knew that would change by the end of the year though. It only adds to The fire. Nothing motivates more than a lack of respect. This team is special. They have it whatever it is. Hope they keep it rolling.
I'm really enjoying it so far. Our defense is fast, fiesty, really deep, and they play together. I love watching our defense. I also like the hurry-up offense we've used a little bit, and having a QB that can at least throw occasionally is refreshing. Thursday night starts the real climb for me. I didn't particularly enjoy 98, 99, and 2008, but otherwise, I always enjoy them. This one does feel like it could be special, though.
I have definitely got a feeling this team can do great things. I'm not nearly as nervous watching them as the past two or three seasons. As long as they continue to not shoot themselves in the foot with turnovers and penalties, I think we are good to go for a championship run. I love watching this defense!!!!
THIS! That long prep for OU has LSU looking & performing like a team in November! All the nervous, twitchy "where do I go" mistakes have, IMHO, been drilled out of the players already. Grab your favorite suds, hang the purple & gold flag & enjoy!
