Cparso and Bandit both have good posts. With Tebow, I'd put it down as a Tiger loss. Now, without Tebow, I call it a "pick it" in Tiger Stadium. JJ is young, but so is Brantley. I wonder if Chief dials up some blitzes to rattle him? My guess, yes he does.

Now, what's best for this team? If we're gonna lose a game, this is the game you want to lose. It will focus the guys on the rest of the season, can't make mistakes, we are not unbeaten or unbeatable. We still control our destiny in the west if we beat Miss. and Bama. And if we make it to Atlanta, we'll probably face Fla. and have a revenge factor going for us.

I'm thinking we see Brantley at QB, and if we do, I'll pick LSU in another one pt. victory, 22-21. (I picked em 22-21 over Ga. last week, I'll stick with it.)

I hope the o-line is not blowing chunks this week! :geaux:

I am hanging my prediction of a victory on a few things about UF.

The fact is that TN punched them in the mouth and they flinched. We have a much bigger punch than TN.

We have had some battles in our schedule. They have had one and that was at home. They haven't had a tough road game yet!

No Tebow = stack the box, blitz the green QB, and pick 6 for #7, #11, or #3.

In our house, we are a much better team than TN, green QB, LSU peaking at the right time. Looks like a good opportunity for an upset!

Our defense has gotten better every week, Tebow or no Tebow there will be some opportunities to make plays on the defensive side of the ball. Offense i have a feeling its about to get simplified, with some trickeration. I thought we would beat Georgia, i think we will beat Florida. There are alot of things that need to be done to do so, but i think the staff will have a gameplan. Its something about this team, statistically we are screwed, but that doesn't matter, this team finds ways to win.

    1. I truly believe this Florida team is not nearly as good as last years team. They have not played a team that will sniff a bowl or even has a quality D1 win. They are actually more unproven than us. Their wideouts are no where near as good as last year, Harvin was a great player.
    2. Tebow even if he plays is not going to be the same Tebow.

I do not think we are all of a sudden going to be perfect, or even great. The reason we can win is based more on UF being a bit overated, having the Tebow issue, playing at death valley at night, and our team continuing to show slow but STEADY improvement. All of these factors, along with confidence and being fired up = UPSET.

Now you know why you are wrong....or at least why I hope you are wrong

And I don't think any of us or the team have forgotten that. Nor do I think that we all of the sudden think all of our problems are fixed. What I do think is confidence is contagious and right now the fans have it and so does the team. That will be the great equalizer.

For us to win, it's gonna have to be a perfect storm in all phases of the game.

The part that worries me the most is their defense against our offensive line...not only regarding establishing the running game, but also giving Jefferson enough time to avoid sacks. I hope the coaches are emphasizing him releasing the ball earlier. If so, I have a feeling that we'll see a lot more tuck and run. We do have a lot going for us now. We're capable and have to put it all together.

The part I feel most confident in is that Tiger Stadium will sound like it did when we played USC and Notre Dame back in the day.

Good thread CParso...I see a lot of the negatigers of late are starting pie in the sky threads.

Good term also coined there by someone "realistic fanaticism". Last year, I never realistically thought they'd score that much on us, but this year I realistically don't see any of the underlying disention that was there a year ago.

last years game, even with the pix 6 and ints, LSU hung with UF up until the end of the 3rd quarter. UF has the same D, and I think we can say they had a better O then too. I also think we can say our D is better this year than last.

Duh, LSU will have to have the best game of the season, but so what.

Add up all the times LSU went to the redzone this year. Add up how many points that could have been. yea, we didnt get em all, but man, when this O clicks, it will be lights out.

Even the O line showed up big in UGA before they started to throw up everywhere.

Still, facts and stats in CFB mean nothing on games like this.

It comes down to who wants it most..........
