1. Except for pissing off journalists, I think the Oregon Administration handled it well. I agree we got off easy, it was a cloudy issue and the NCAA didn't know what to do with us. Our bigshot lawyer helped a bunch, and it seems because we cooperated, Oregon got off light for good behavior.

The Ducks would have beat the shit out of Notre Dame too.

  2. If schools are really serious about keeping coaches in line, than contracts between the schools and the coaches could have penalty clauses where if a school is found out of NCAA compliance as a result of a coaches actions, that coach would owe a monetary compensation to the school even if the coach was no longer employed at the school.

Sure would make lawyers happy with longer contracts and litigation which we would all pay for with higher priced tickets!

Oh my --- When does football season start? 65 Days, 4 hours, 18 minutes, 7 seconds and counting...

  3. Y'all and about another 10 teams, get in line and take a number........;)

  4. Another reason the Duckks got off easy was Phil Knight's Nike. NCAA was scared to piss him off.
  5. Thanks again Uncle Phil

    We want Alabama
  6. Why would you want to play the second best team from the SEC next year?
  7. Destroying Alabama would be a beautiful thing to see...I shoulda said, Oregon wants to be the team that knocks the SEC from atop the mountain.
  8. I would not mind playing you guys again :)
  9. The majority of Bama fans have their eyes set on Ohio State. Actually, that's probably worded best by replacing Ohio State with Urban Meyer.

The team I see from the PAC that has the best opportunity to do so? Stanford.
  10. Ohio State and Alabama can have each other in the 3rd and 4th place game. We'll take Oregon for the 1st and 2nd game. Deal?
