A baseball game over the opening SEC football schedule? Tough to see Vandy go out like that. Normally our SEC officials are proficient at blowing calls for the visiting team.

Hard to find common ground with a Duck with a big Ten background, tucked away in Tigerville. I have traveled to a few bowl games against the big blue and their fans travel well. As a group, they're fairly polite and carry themselves with high expectations. Beyond that, Bama will show Michigan they have the best 45 players on the field. My prediction is that it will end much in the manner as your vote for a certain, former, wolverine center.

    Baseball rocks,.. slowly.

"Hard to find common ground with a Duck with a big Ten background, tucked away in Tigerville." ...lol, yet friends we stay,.. not really my fault about Michigan, I just couldn't be a buckeye.

hi, Chess, i know you're upset with me, and i'm sorry,.. but i need to tell someone about this,.. just talked to ginger about the big fire here, it started 30 miles north of me and traveled east,.. into nearly unpopulated areas, but still very tragic to me,.. Long Creek, Lee Thomas meadows, Dead Horse lake, our three favorite camping and fishing areas when we were kids, during the ten bad years, when the only thing that got me trough it, was knowing that if i could just endure the hell until june, i'd get to spend the summer in heaven, Oregon,.. these were the places we all loved, the only places gma, grandad, ging and i, wanted to go,.. they all got burned up

ginger was crying when she told me, and i felt like it when i heard, i'm choking up now,.. a dozen of our family went to Dead Horse lake after grandma and grandad died, we had a memorial there and i poured their ashes into the lake,.. this hurts a lot, like the only good part of my childhood was just destroyed, this hurts a lot, writing this has got emotion flowing from me, now i'm crying like a little girl, i don't ever remember crying this much, ever .. hope you'll talk to me

Honestly, they both deserved to lose. But that's how first games usually turn out, lots of slop.

I can't for the life of me figure out how any American sports fan can dislike baseball. Wonderful game, it is. I'm a Braves fan but have nothing but respect for Bruce Bochy and his club.

...too bubbly for my taste, but some people like Pinot and some Chardonnay. Kal's not quite right about cheerleaders either,.. it's 800 meter women runners who look the best.

Gymnast, runners, cheerleaders, they all have those toned thighs.
Its the toned thighs bro, they are like anacondas.

When she's holding on to the pull up bar in the bedroom doorway and got them wrapped around you, with some nice perky c-cups bouncing in your face while you're working up a sweat, it just doesnt get much better than that.

Holy cow. You're depressing me. After 30 it's hard to find one who can/want to do those tricks- not to mention the "perky" factor. Brought back some awesome memories of the good ol college days thought.

Like the line in "Pretty Woman" about her 'legs being 44" long'-- then she "wraps 88 inches of therapy" around his body.

    http://www2.registerguard.com/cms/i...l/comments/oregon-arkansas-state-predictions/

    By Rob Mosely

Approaching this post from the standpoint of explaining how Oregon will go about beating Arkansas State on Saturday night seems, well, asinine.

The fifth-ranked Ducks are going to win. They're going to win big. A lot of guys are going to play, and a lot of guys are going to do a lot of good things for Oregon.

In a general sense, i expect to see two things: Oregon scoring a ton of points, and Arkansas State avoiding the shutout, based on the presence of Guz Malzahn on the sideline calling plays, and senior quarterback Ryan Aplin running them.

But there's much, much more to watch for Saturday than simply how the Ducks go about winning.

I can't wait to see … how Marcus Mariota handles the moment. Pretty much everybody associated with Oregon thinks the cool customer is impossible to rattle. But even great quarterbacks (and yeah, it seems premature to call Mariota "great") have instances when the moment gets to them — Dennis Dixon at Cal, Joey Harrington in the Civil War. Mariota won't be perfect, but will certainly start to show why he's Oregon's future.

I can't wait to see … how this defense attacks the Red Wolves. With Dion Jordan and Boseko Lokombo on the perimeter and Kiko Alonso wreaking havoc up the middle, Aplin won't be able to get comfortable at any point. New rover Brian Jackson will impress people too, at least those who don't remember his tenacity on special teams in 2010, prior to knee problems last season.

I can't wait to see … how De'Anthony Thomas is deployed. Not that I expect the Ducks to show many of their cards, despite Chip Kelly's public pronouncements that they won't hold anything back, but it will be interesting to see if Thomas is used in any new ways. I'd figure about 10 rushes, five receptions and a couple returns — and a whole bunch of yards on those touches.

I can't wait to see … how deep Oregon is able to rotate on offense. The defense has played a ton of guys the last few years, but the offense hasn't really had that luxury because of separation between the starters and backups. Could they really play nine or 10 offensive linemen while the game is still competitive? Might six or seven receivers see the field in the first half? What about all four of those tight ends on the two-deep?

I can't wait to see … how all the newcomers impact the team. How is Bralon Addison used? Will Arik Armstead or DeForest Buckner get more reps at defensive end? What to make of redshirts such as Jared Ebert, B.J. Kelley, Rahim Cassell and Tyler Johnstone?

All in all, it's going to be a really intriguing Saturday. For all the frustration of not being able to watch practices the last month, it makes tomorrow's first game all the more compelling — the big reveal, on so many different subjects.

Should be fun. Oh, and the Ducks should win big.

Prediction: Oregon 59, Arkansas State 9

    What do you see happening?

    ..........................
 This should be a fun day, watch for Eric Dungy, Kylie Long, and Bralon Addison, the first two because their dads are famous, and Addison because the freshmen WR/kick returner was the talk of camp. Also important to see is if freshmen Byron Marshall can emerge as Oregon's power short yardage back.

Fan predictions at the bottom of the article in the Game Prediction link are always very homerish and fun.

Hope and expect your Tigers to knock the crap out of em

    Go Ducks
