https://www.espn.com/college-footba...an-kelly-next-head-football-coach-sources-say wow.! .. you broke the news to me,.. i haven't paid much attention to the domers, but Brian Kelly turned them into and has kept them a top 10 team it certainly is a splashy hire,.. what do you guys and Stacey think
I’m not thrilled with it, but maybe it’ll turn out ok. Seems like a padded resume to me, similar to Riley. Hope he hires a good staff and can recruit.
I was initially not necessarily thrilled, but I certainly wasn't thrilled with Orgeron...so I am willing to keep an open mind. His age concerns me, though. Will he relate well to the kiddos?
Report: Ducks have offered ‘massive’ contract extension to Mario Cristobal https://sports.yahoo.com/report-ducks-offered-massive-contract-220232393.html On Friday morning, the official report that the University of Miami was going to try and hire head coach Mario Cristobal away from the Oregon Ducks came out. Soon after, reports that the University of Oregon has offered a “massive” contract extension to their head coach in order to keep him around have now surfaced as well. According to The Oregonian‘s James Crepea and John Canzano, Oregon has put a contract extension in front of Cristobal that is “in line with what we’ve seen this week,” Canzano reports. That means big money if you are to take anything away from the massive contracts signed by both Lincoln Riley at USC and Brian Kelly at LSU. LSU is paying Kelly $95 million plus bonuses over 10 years. Riley’s deal at USC is believed to be in excess of $110 million. It’s clear that the Ducks want to hang on to Cristobal, who is among the hottest names in college football, despite giving no indication that he plans to leave Eugene. If the Ducks gave him a massive extension, it would be even harder to take off.
Dang Duck Twice in one year? I know how it feels, we got beat today too. Same team, second time in a year.
