    Wildfires in California are not a natural disaster, they are a season. Every year this time, you can count on the fires to come. This year is the worst ever. Sad, very sad for those in it. Oregan, being as vegetated as it is, makes it even worse. Tripple sad for those folks

    Some portion of the severity of the fires is due to environmentalists refusal to allow cleaning out deadwood by setting controlled fires and other methods. This refusal creates vast amounts of fuel for the fires to feed on. Yes the hot weather and drought is also a factor in the severity as is the fact that too many are set by people either too stupid or crazy.

    A lot of them were actually set by lightening this year. Damnedest thing. One however was set by a smoke grenade at a gender reveal party. Can you imagine being on the hook for all of the properties damaged plus the cost of the response and any potential deaths?

    not so much, Winston, that's an easy simplistic cheap shot against environmentalists, they aren't really a factor in this, it's simply too massive of an area, the fuel's provided by prior wet years,.. environmentalists know if the deadwood isn't removed by man,, it will be removed by fire,.. not everything is political

    Strange how the fires stop at the Canadian border. There have been reports of people shootings Roman candles into the forest from cars . Antifa? Message is elect Joe Biden and the fires will stop.

    there are rumors that Trump had the SpaceForce light the fires with a killer satellite's proton blaster,.. he wants to turn Oregon into a red state
