    Found a way to test all the players and coaches in an effective and efficient manner on a regular basis. There is no reason the PAC shouldn't be playing football except for the ineptness of the commissioner. The Big dropped their bombshell the day before a scheduled meeting of all the commissioners. They expected everybody to go along with them.

    That PAC and the MAC fell in line. The rest, SEC, ACC, Big 13 as well as the AAC, Conference USA, , the Sunbelt and the WAC did what they had to do and will be playing football this fall.

    the deal with Quidel Corporation for daily COVID-19 testing is new technology that the Pac and Quidel are testing

    where the pac and big fucked up was jumping the gun and calling off fall sports prematurely, they should have waited as long as they possibly could

    getting back to the covid tests, they're saying these tests, which will give +/- results in 15 minutes, will possibly get college students back in the classrooms and workers back to work,.. this new test is a big deal, BB

    BB, it's unknown when regular students will be allowed back on Oregon college campuses

    The Pac-12 called the agreement “a major step toward the safe return of sports competition.” Quidel’s Sofia 2 testing machines and tests are expected to be delivered to each of the Pac-12′s athletic departments by the end of the month.

    “This enables us to know every day, before every athletic practice or game, that everyone participating tested negative for COVID-19,” Pac-12 commissioner Larry Scott said. “This access to daily, rapid-result testing, simply put, is a game-changer. ...

    Quidel president said the company had agreements with “several” schools, which are already using its antigen tests, just not with the daily frequency that will be implemented in the Pac-12

    Novak Djokovic, the #1 tennis player in the world, was disqualified from the US Open after accidentally hitting a line judge in the throat with a tennis ball.

    Prior to today, Djokovic was undefeated all year and was the clear favorite to win the tournament,.. a stunning end to his 29-match winning streak and bid for an 18th Grand Slam title.

    I saw the ticker saying ND hit someone with ball but it wasnt clear about how/why. I dont watch tennis much anymore. Looks like he just swatted a ball off he didnt like or he was just dumping one out of frustration. One things for sure, that LJ would be dead if it was intentional.
