    ....This story from The New York Times says the whole season is on the brink.
    ....As the AP reports, the Patriot League has punted on fall football. SEC leaders aren’t announcing a decision, at least not yet.
    ....ESPN reports concern is growing about playing college football in the fall, and there is increasing support for a spring season.

    Can't even imagine how bad that would suck to have your best team in years, stacked on both sides of the ball, poised to have a 2019 LSU-type season only to have the decision makers announce no football in 2020.

    last year, Oregon's women's basketball team, were set up to be national champs,.. they'd beaten the US National team, went to UConn, and dominated that famous team, giving them the worst beating ever in their home stadium

    Pac-12 champs,.. then went to Vegas and clobbered #5 stanford, and won the Pac-tourney,.. Ducks, (31-2), were a #1 national seed,.. the week before the tournament started,.. basketball was cancelled

    was pretty heartbreaking, I'd watched those senior girls grow for 4 years, just when they were on the verge of accomplishing their dream, it was ripped away from them

    in the WNBA draft,.. the Oregon players were drafted,.. #1 overall,.. #2 overall,.. #8 overall

    Im afraid football as we know it has changed for at least a while and possibly forever.

    It is going to be a rough fall if our tigers dont get to play football.

    2021's been pretty fucked up all way round,.. football would sure be a wonderful uplifting thing

    yep, just not very well,..nice baseball stadium tho

    we love track and field!.. our new stadium is finished



    it's the finest track and field facility in America, one of the best in the world,.. and it's gonna sit there, empty and unused for at least a year and a half, because all of the track meets have been postponed
