My dad worked for Winn Dixie before he went on his own. I don't think that grocery store is around anymore but idk.

 

Dixie is horse piss. I went to some music festival one time at the drag strip outside of Baton Rouge. I can't remember if anybody famous played except for Randy Newman, who was the reason I went despite the bad weather. The ground where the stage and crowd was had turned to mud. The chick I was with kept bitching about wanting to leave before Randy Newman played. Worst of all the only brand of beer they were selling was Dixie.

 

Pretty sure they are still around. Think I saw something where they too were changing their name. But that may have been just a related joke. BB will look it up.

 

They should get bigger boobed chicks and call themselves the D Cups.

Were gettin comped a couple at Pels games with season tickets froms buds work before DaRona. I was partial to the voodoo (dark lager) being free and cold.
