    Then try it. Every person from La. I have ever known, or from the Gulf South, who has ever lived in the PNW did not like the climate. At any rate, it's not important, but I'd like to see you try it for 2-5 years and see what kind of tune you'd be singing then...

    I moved from Alexandria to the PNW in 1976 and I love it. When it gets cold you dress for cold,but the summers in Louisiana were hard on me.

    I spent 18 yrs growing up in SW LA. I have been in the PNW for almost 13yrs now. I love it up here. I do miss it down there sometimes.
