Would the center snapping the ball hitting Jarrett Lee in the facemask because Lee wasnt looking, the ball then being recovered by Oregon be considered an "unforced Turnover"?

Because that was LSU's one turnover in which Our defense forced a 3 and out and only allowed a FG!

    I admire and respect your post as I do all of your post Giant Duck Fan!. My question for you as a Duck fan and all Duck fans for that matter;

How come now, after a win over (IMO) an over-rated Stanford, the media and all the Duck nation wants to talk about Oregon being a legit threat again. And how they have vastly improved?

When the week after the LSU game, Oregon was literally "right back at it" right back at being Oregon, hanging 70 Points, Putting up 600 yards, and scoring 10 touchdowns in ONE GAME. Then did this over and over every game there after including the Stanford game

But, they want to wait until now..........to show Love.

That’s not just Hate on the Ducks, but dis-respect towards LSU IMO as well.

    Two things:

    1. Can't blame these Duck fans for getting up about the possibility. After all, what else are they to do? Dump the season because of the loss to us?

    2. Media sensationalism is the other reason. These people make a living off of talking about this stuff, yet we dissect the whole thing better here.

For Oregon to get in, they probably need LSU to lose. If LSU doesn't lose, they will need OU to beat OSU and hope that the voters choose not to put OU over them in the final BCS poll. The voters are 2/3s of that poll. OU would beat Oregon in the computers because of SOS. My money is on the fact that OU will jump Oregon and the voters will vote to have OU play LSU because both Bama and Oregon have lost to LSU THIS SEASON. That is the difference in all of this. Had Oregon not played LSU and was sitting undefeated right now, they would probably be BCS #2 or maybe just behind Okie St. and waiting for OU to beat them.

I am not mad at the Duck fans either, and after all they are just that (Fans) and as Fans, they have wanted another shot at LSU since the final minute of the game(Maybe even before)

My point is, a realistic Duck fan knows, that the Ducks have been doing what they did to Stanford, since week 2 of the football season. Truth be told, it wasn’t all the Ducks beating themselves. LSU had something to do with that.

I think if we were to play again, I see IMHO, no different of a result, in terms of a Final Score. LSU by 2 touchdowns

    Just Sayin......

Yes, I think (Know) we are THAT DAMN GOOD!

I thought about this earlier today. I am always trying to figure out why that state is so different from our own and the South in general. I think it is that these people like to live in the theoretical of what should be, not what is. The Duck fans are just caught up in this "the way it should be" right now, not the way it is. The problem I have from there is that they expect everyone else around the country to go along with the way they think things should be, both at home and in other states. It really grates on my nerves. This isn't just a football issue; it is a cultural issue.

My favorite quote from Kelly after the LSU game:
“Standing next to them on the field, they don’t look like a lot of the guys we see.” !!

I thought the LSU game exposed weakness's in my team.

    very leaky rushing defense
    inexperienced ineffective receivers.

Oregon's rushing defense has really improved over the last 3 or 4 games.

The team as a whole seems to have jelled and improved. The passing game still has a long way to go. Of course all teams improve tremendously compared to the first game of the season.
    _____________

I think Oregon fans have remained consistent,... Happily living in a green and yellow world, we are totally deluded, unbridled Duck cheerleaders.

The difference now is, people are listening more.

The national media,.. they don't know anything,.. they thought Stanford was great. You know the Tigers, and I know the Ducks,.. much more than those guys do. Tigerfan members have more credibility than Lou Holtz and Mark May. They are a comedy act, so just laugh at the fools.

ESPN and the like are just trying to find something interesting to talk about.

You are a great fan and an awesome addition to this forum! Look forward to years of chat with you bro!

    PS.
If we had to rematch one, I think u deserve it over Bama, You won your conference, and you lost early. Not to mention I think it would make for a better matchup! I do believe you guys have improved, every team does, and that's another point cause LSU had only improved too

Because Oregon hasn't faced O-lines like you see around here. Think back. Size and speed. Remember? Be afraid. Be very afraid. You should hope LSU and Bama both lose another game. You don't want a piece of either of us.
