    Oregon has no regular sales tax, but puts a sales tax on recreational cannabis i guess? I'd happily pay that sales tax instead of the shipping and stealth packaging cost that i pay now - and the risk of getting stuffed in a cage too.

    What's up with that crazy state income tax though ~ 9-10%?

    the 20% state tax was built into the, recreational marijuana, ballot measure approved by the voters. If you have a medical marijuana card, the tax is waived. the Oregon government i$ very much pro-cannabi$ now

    I twisted my knee once, it swole up and the doctor drained it, was in my medical record, like 15 years later, I used it as a reason to get my medical marijuana card. I think they cost over $200 a year now, unless you qualify to get it free, you probably won't save any money, and not worth the big hassle to get,.. but before the law change it was a great thing

    Because it’s not actually the true land of the free. It’s the land of very heavy regulation and the ever presence of state and local government. But I digress.
