    Most people can’t tell I’m even from this state, I don’t have an accent until I get around my Avoyelles Parish Family then it kinda comes out. But yeah the Avoyelles Rapides line is Louisiana’s own Mason Dixon line. If you are from Rapides or north you’re a yankee.

    LOL Over here the line is Gainesville. I got into an argument at work when I first moved down here and was told to take my yankee ass back up north. When I took offense to being called a yankee.... she said, if you're from north of Gainesville, you're a yankee!
    She was a big gator fan and learned quickly not to insult her supervisor.....

    EUGENE — Justin Herbert is returning for his senior season at Oregon.

    Widely projected as the top draft-eligible quarterback and a likely top 10 pick, Herbert on Wednesday announced his plans to stay with the Ducks for the 2019 season.

    “The University of Oregon has been a special place to me for as long as I can remember,” Herbert said in a statement. “Words will never be able to express my feelings of gratitude toward the people that have built and maintain our program. What I have come to realize, though, is that nothing could pull me away from the opportunities that we have in front of us. As we prepare for our bowl game, I would like to ensure that there are no distractions outside of this game.

    My commitment to my teammates, our coaches, Duck fans, and the University of Oregon has never been stronger. I’ll be returning to the University of Oregon for my senior year. Go Ducks!”

    I know people that think yankee is N of I10. I lean toward I20 personally.

    I was always told the mason Dixon
    Line is actually the border of Rapides and Avoyelles.
