Well, you probably know that you are going to get disagreement here, so here goes:

    1. The game against Oregon was close - in the first half, and then we pretty much murdered you guys. No one in Oregon argued that for the first 48 hours. Once they came to after the pounding, some of this stuff started to come up, namely they wanted a rematch. That said, the "domination" was clearly not a false narrative. We destroyed you. When you woke up from being down 33-13, you knew it was over. You knew it. Your whole state knew it.

    2. Oregon dropped as much as they did probably for a few reasons. First off, LSU probably wasn't thought of to be that strong or top team strong, and possibly not in the SEC, by a lot of voters. So, you perceptably loss to the non-top SEC team after having lost to Auburn in the :crystal: . Couple this with the fact that voters may have perceived that two other conferences, besides the SEC, was stronger than the Pac-12 (Big-12 and Big 10), and you get a bigger drop than maybe you would have liked.

    3. Oregon's offensive drives...mostly first half and meaningless later 4th quarter stuff, but you guys have a great offense. There's no doubt and you deserve props for that.

    4. Credit for LSU: yes, Oregon gets credit for scheduling us and vice versa. Does that translate into what the polls say? Probably not. There was no SOS and we really didn't have a "body of work" on any of the teams. (God, I hate that phrase.) Next.

    5. If the writer thinks Arky would beat Oregon and after we destroyed you, why would anyone want to see that rematch? Sounds more like he is trying to give a forgotten Oregon team a publicity lift. I get it, but it won't make it so. I don't know about Arky beating you, but 'Bama would absolutely destroy you. Sorry. That's just the way I see it.

    6. Ore v. Stanford: most people are predicting a Stanford win, just like 80% of the so-called "experts" picked Bama over us. In my mind, this is Stanford's only real chance to get to the BCSNCG with Luck leaving and a new HC already in place. I just don't think they will sustain that program. The programs in the Pac-12 this decade that have sustained themselves the best are clearly USC and Ore. I expect that to continue in the longer term. But I see Stanford facing pressure to win this game, i.e., it is a must win for them. Oregon will have a bit of a chip on their shoulder. Y'all convincingly beat Stanford last year, and I expect you to win tomorrow as well. I'll guess 45-42, but it could be 42-28 or, 52-35, or something, who knows. Oregon will surprise Stanford, and if I am wrong, it will simply be time for you to finish your season up and hope for a BCS bowl at-large. Good luck.

I do have an Ore story for you, GDF. A friend of mine is an OU alum. He is in Salt Lake tonight. Seems his estranged bitch wife, whom he is divorcing, is getting a car in Salt Lake tomorrow. Then they are driving to Boise, staying the night and then driving to Portland all day Sunday from Boise. So I asked him about where he was going to watch the game, SLC or Boise? He says, neither. They will be on the road at that time and he will have to DVR the game.

I mean, come on, this has to be the biggest game of the year there this year, right? I mean, I assume the place is going nuts in prep for this game, right? Lot's of watch parties and things like that, right? So two questions:

    1. What kind of bitch does this to her husband? (Obviously a bitch does it. )

    2. What kind of Oregon alum lets his woman keep him from watching this biggest game of the year? Good lord....

No way you will hold stanford to 17 pernts. No way.

Has it been raining in No.Cal.? What are the conditions expected to be? Cancels out both of you guys, especially if the game is played on a real field and not turf.

Oh, yeah, I am. He's a good dude. Going through a lot of crap right now. Can't believe he is letting this happen. Here's what I told him.

    1. Tell the bitch to drive the car home herself.

    2. Tell the bitch you are staying in SLC to watch the game and drink N/A beer with some Mormons, and when the game is done, to drive your ass to Boise.

    3. Tell her to F off if 1 or 2 fail.

Supposed to have received heavy rain all Friday, clear on Saturday, real grass at the farm.

Could have been trap game mentality, but Luck didn't look so good against the beavers.

I think it's going to be low scoring until the Ducks break away.[IMG]

NOTE: I just checked, it looks like they picked up .16 inches on Friday, not as much rain as they were expecting.

Well, that's interesting. Thanks for the report on that. I wonder how the fields drain there. Given it is no.cal, they probably don't put much thought into it. But you guys play on a form of turf, right? If that is the case, and they are used to grass, why would these conditions favor you? Even your PF is turf, right? All you have is the rain advantage, but it doesn't matter nearly as much on that kind of field.

You misunderstood, I think UofO is the better team, I think the sloppy conditions will keep the score down. Probably will hurt us more than Stanford, by shrinking our advantage at RB and overall team speed.

On a sloppy field I think the Duck's defense will be the difference.

I cruised over to one of your news sites. Even your own writers are picking Stanford. I'm really surprised by that. Sure, some will do it, but the amount of people picking Stanford seems to be running 90-10 or so. Wow.
