    Mullen is pretty good, but I’m guessing Taggart will be an upgrade. SEC is a beast and getting worse; if Eaux can succeed he’ll have earned it more now than ever.

    before the '60s, Oregon' teams didn't have an official nickname,.. during the '40s, before the game, fans would march to downtown Eugene's canal system. Capture a white duck, "Puddles", and then parade it to the football stadium, "Ducks", and "Puddles" kinda caught on.

    in the '60s, a hand-shake agreement between Walt Disney and the University of Oregon President, made Donald Duck Oregon's official mascot. Immediately there was tension between the University and DisneyCorp. over marketing rights. During the '70-'80s more people called our mascot Donald than anything else, but Disney didn't want him called Donald and they demanded advertising control of the mascot,.. big fight. In about 2010 Disney and UofO came to an agreement "the Duck", is not Donald Duck",.. except he is

    Maybe you could be the Duckmaster

    In 1940, a Bellman by the name of Edward Pembroke volunteered to care for the ducks. Pembroke was given the position of "Duckmaster" and served in that position until 1991.
