1. ouch. sorry to see LMJ go down, duck. i'm wondering how bad that arm is after that fall, totally brutal. it really sucks when this happens to a kid that does everything the right way.

anyway, good game by your ducks...especially in the third. chip channelled his inner les miles and 'had a want to play quality football and dominate cal, given the chance.' #6 looks reeeeeally good.

  2. Good prediction, pretty close :thumb:
  3. Hey duck
wasn't that 15-43 pretty close to your prediction
  4. That was a great game. I hated to see James go down though, it looked pretty ugly.

Go Ducks!!! One day I am going to make it to Autzen for a game, its on my bucket list.
  5. LaMichael James .....

I watched the first half last night, ... and no offense GDF ... but I don't James would be half the sensation that he is if he had to play better defenses.

I couldn't help but notice, he racks up yards with his speed when he gets around the corner of a slow, poorly exectuted defense, but he is a pretty easy tackle if he can't get to open field.

I guess this is why he only got 54 yrds against LSU, our defense is so much faster than the defenses he plays. Bama's is the same, as well as most of the defenses in the SEC. It's like Kelly noted ... "they don't see these kind of athletes" .. in the teams they play.

Not to say he's not good, but I don't think he would be in contention for a Heisman if he played against bigger, faster defenses. It really makes one have to respect the challenge that SEC running backs have to face.

I think this same thing goes for OU, as well. They are racking up points on pansy defenses. And while the ESPN turds seem to thing OU has a great defense ... I think that is only relative to their conference.

But other than that ... "Go Ducks" ... and beat the sheite out of USC!!!
  6. Great job Ducks. And GDF, quite a close prediction.

James dislocated his elbow. Not good. Not sure if he's done for the season or not. With the way Oregon's offense is designed, I'm sure someone could step in and be just as productive.
  7. the problem is having to take deanthony thomas out of the slot (where he is killing defenders) and rotate him in the backfield. you're losing that explosiveness on short routes and reverses. i think oregon will be fine, but it will be interesting to see the adjustments chip will make.

  8. That is absolutely amazing. You live in a beautiful place. You have everything there, except a defensive line. Just picking. Just picking duck. I had to let my jealousy out some way. It's 70 degrees, muggy and the knats are out biteing in full force this morning at the refinery here in south la.
