Maybe, maybe not... My grandmother often said, "It's a good life as long as you don't weaken" which was apparently a popular saying during the "great depression." I think the saying is just as true today and will be in the future. So, keep a "stiff upper lip" as the British suggest one do in the face of adversity and I'll add to what ever else naturally comes your way.
seems like there's a generation between them and the boomers,.. those born between 1930-50. Though I suppose coining a name for a generation started with, "baby boomers",.. the term "Greatest generation" sprang from the title of a book written more than 50 years after the war
I never heard that term until after the book or movie came out. I also never heard New Orleans called The Big Easy until the movie.
Boomers started being born in 1946 when veterans started coming home. I think boomers are from 1946 to 1964.
