Sorry, need about 3 doz. more sets of bouncy goodness to begin to make up for that act of treason, maybe 4 dozen
Really shocked and sad to read today that that latest fire up there was caused by teenagers throwing smoke bombs into the Columbia River Gorge. And as usual they were stupid enough to put themselves on camera doing it and laughing. I'm glad they've been caught.
yeah, damn kids,.. that's an extremely gorgeous place,.. there's a couple of neat old lodges/restaurants that are threatened and would be a shame to lose too. One wrote; "It’s hard to put the heartache into words. It’s a sort of dull pain in the gut, billowing up into anger, caught in a horrible choke of grief in my throat. The gorge is up in flames, and the grief I feel is real. I spent Tuesday like a lot of Oregonians, watching the Columbia River Gorge burn. On Monday it was a small sadness, but by dawn it was a catastrophe, doubled in size and blazing west through forests, down trails and past historic landmarks I know well."
I stayed at the Skamania Lodge in the Columbia River Gorge a few years ago. It was beautiful there. Its on the Washington side and I heard the fire jumped there today. Hope they get them under control soon
