Ryan Nall and Oregon State Beavers rally past Oregon Ducks in Civil War

CORVALLIS — With a heavy downpour pounding the Reser Stadium turf, Oregon State turned to its rushing attack.

Again. And again. And again.

The Beavers ripped off 21 consecutive run plays to seize the lead and finish off a 34-24 Civil War come-from-behind victory, beating the Ducks for the first time since 2007.

OSU, which scored 20 consecutive points to clinch the win, closes the season with two consecutive victories to finish 4-8 and 3-6 in Pac-12 play. Oregon also finishes 4-8 and with questions about coach Mark Helfrich's status surrounding the program.

This sucks,.. fire him now, don't string it out and torture him. Ya know, this is new to us Ducks, Oregon last fired a coach way back in 1976, we've been happy as clams for 40 years,.. this sucks

I was thinking about that,.. last year the Duck's lost their top 6 secondary players, our coach said, "all of our brains graduated", so all young CB's and safeties played this year,.. and we started 4 freshmen on our DL,.. our starting QB just turned 18,.. to say we're young is an understatement.

But we have a lot of talent coming back,.. Chip would make the most of it,.. we've been unimaginative on offense, Chip would fix that,.. and our recruiting has gone down hill, he'd make us relevant again.

Yup, I want Chip back
