True freshman Justin Herbert will start at QB for the Ducks

Oregon’s coach is calling on the talented true freshman to provide the team with a much-needed spark against No. 5 Washington on Saturday at Autzen Stadium (4:30 p.m., Fox).

After three consecutive losses, the Ducks (2-3, 0-3) are expected to bench Dakota Prukop and give Herbert his first start.

Prukop has been very good, solid in every game,.. It's just that, Eugene native son, Justin Herbert has raised eyebrows since camp opened,.. and lately has been practicing like a rising star.

Can't wait to see,.. I'm ready, I'm ready, wooo.

Looking forward to this game and WAZZU/Stanford game.

I know it's not the same Ducks, but I'm so impressed by what Chris Peterson has done to the Huskies. Damn! I didn't think the score would look like this.
