    Especially since the Ducks have given USC fits as of recently. What was it the last 3 of 4?

    I watched a little bit of USC against Utah, I thought the trojans looked good.

    I expected them to beat ASU, nope they looked bad. This from Ted Miller;

    ....There was a lot of talk among USC writers of the Trojans getting out coached at ASU. Whether that's true or not, the Sun Devils certainly were more effective counter-punchers....

    The PAC needs a top level USC, and I think it's a healthy thing for college football too. That said, I'd enjoy seeing Kiffen fail, get fired, and limp out of L.A. in disgrace. Then they can get better...:thumb:

    Thanks again for the links and west coast updates. With a lose to ASU, USC is in decline and will be done for a few years. Then some other coach will step in, recruit and make the USC relavent again.

    At times they play well, never at world beater level. Other times they look unprepared and lackadaisical. Too much tradition and pride. Don't see Kiffin's tenure far exceeding the probation he partly deserves. USC is not going to put up with getting taken behind the wood shed by the Ducks for too long, regardless.

    TBH GDF I think the National Championship game is going to be played on Nov. 5th. I'm more sad that with our current system the two best teams in college football aren't allow to meet with a crystal ball up for grabs simply because they're in the same division. You have no idea how badly I wanted that game to be at home. It's gonna be a killer environment.

    Ducks and a Rose bowl bid will be a good get. I don't think voters would put Oregon in the Championship game again this season. If LSU and Alabama both drop a game and neither gets back to #2, as much as it saddens me, I honestly think Boise State gets the bid.

    'Saddens" and maddens, but the preseason polls have set Boise up once again.

    We can only hope the computer polls and a close vote in the human polls will vault the winner of LSU/AL game into the BCSNCG. BS's wimpy schedule will haunt them if there is any justice.

    I already hate the BCS, and if the Tigers and Bama meet up undefeated, and Bama wins, and then LSU finishes 11-1 and Oregon finishes 12-1 but gets the nod to play Bama in the BCSNCG before LSU when LSU won the game between the two on the field.........I'd get over it, but we would all know its a bunch of Bullsh!t

    Beat Georgia and the next 11 weeks, sit back and see how it all shakes out. Good gig if you can get it.

    They won't. Boise State would get the bid. This is assuming that Oklahoma drops a game.

    In a situation where Bama and LSU meet undefeated, the Winner gets the NC bid, tbh even if the loser works his way back up in the top 5 I don't think they would do a rematch for the NC. Hence the problem with the system.
