What's funny about that last one is it's posted on a website devoted to hating all things USC....I guess tits are the great equalizer.

They changed a little this year.....I'm not a fan. I do prefer the traditional. But I also like the warm/humid weather outfit....I think it debuted in Arkansas.

    Don't sleep on Week 2, (ESPN.com)

If Northwestern can beat Stanford, Texas can be held to three points and a backup quarterback can beat Nebraska with a Hail Mary in Week 1, only a fool would look away now.

Besides, we've got a matchup of top-10 teams, the start of the SEC West race, and another Stoops heading into SEC country -- all of which could impact the College Football Playoff. Here's a look at the top three games that have playoff implications in Week 2:

    [IMG][IMG]

    1. No. 7 Oregon at No. 5 Michigan State: The jury is still out on Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams Jr., but this game will reveal if he's good enough (and tall enough) to lead the Ducks back to the playoff. Ohio State fans should also be interested in this game because if anyone can stop the Buckeyes' offense, it's the Spartans. The good news for both teams is that they can still lose this game and remain in the playoff conversation, but it's unlikely either team will make it through their respective conferences without a loss. Oregon hosts USC and Michigan State is at Ohio State on Nov. 21. ESPN's Football Power Index predicts both to lose that weekend. Much like Ohio State, Michigan State's strength of schedule is average at best. It needs this win to impress the selection committee, because odds are it won't face another ranked team until it goes to Columbus, Ohio.

    2. No. 14 LSU at No. 25 Mississippi State: Welcome to the 2015 season, LSU. The Tigers are playing for the first (official) time after their opener against McNeese State was cancelled last Saturday because of the weather. With 10 teams ranked in the AP Top 25 this week, the SEC is again the leading conference in the game, but how many of those teams will still be ranked once they start playing each other? Well, this is a start to finding out. It's not unrealistic to think that the SEC champ will have at least two losses, but FPI already has those penciled in for LSU -- at Alabama and at Ole Miss. The Tigers obviously don't want to be playing the playoff race from behind.

    3. No. 19 Oklahoma at No. 23 Tennessee: Expectations for the Vols are swirling, and they've finally been tempered for the Sooners -- which is when they tend to be at their best. This game is important not only for Oklahoma, but for the entire Big 12, which has faced its fair share of criticism for soft nonconference scheduling. This is a win that would separate Oklahoma from TCU and Baylor in the committee's eyes (along with head-to-head obviously later in the season). That's assuming, of course, that Tennessee remains relevant in the SEC East, where Georgia is the favorite.
