    I'm happy you received good news about your mom's health.

    As LSU was losing to Clemson last year in the Chicken Bowl on New Year's Eve, I didn't really care, as my dad was in ICU a few miles away following triple bypass surgery. At that point, he still hadn't fully regained his faculties, and the doctors feared he'd had a stroke during the procedure. Ultimately, he came around and is feeling great now.

    But football took a backseat in a very big way.

    you knew what was coming and you simply could not stop it

    Man I was bummed this morning when I heard the Ducks lost. Last night, flipping, I thought it was last year's game when I saw the score. Oregon hadn't scored at that point. Think it was 17-0. Course I had a few last night but still.

    Hi, nice of you to say, the last few minutes did get interesting. :) No co-champs though,.. furd owns the tie breaker. I don't have any idea where we'll end up now, hopefully a BCS Bowl.


    Tiga,.. like Noth1ngfaced said, the Ducks never quit, but I saw nothing else good about that game. It was horrible.

    This is the week that was.... Started out fine,.. Utah beat a Michigan team the media thought would walk all over the Utes, made the PAC look good. The week went down hill though, the PAC was touting itself as the toughest conference in the country, better than the SEC. Then Washington State lost to FBS Portland State,.. embarrassing. Stanford played like crap against Northwestern,.. losing ugly. A purportedly better Colorado got beat by Hawaii,.. pitifull.

    Oregon let FBS Eastern Washington score 42 points against our supposed top 25 defense. The PAC lost some credibility me thinks.

    Both Eastern Washington QBs looked like superstars while carving up the Ducks. Oregon shut down EW's run game very well, but could put very little pressure on the opposing Quarterbacks, who to their credit were poised and accurate. It was not pretty to watch our defense.

    Our new QB Vernon Adams looked extral good especially considering his very short time as a Duck.

    Up Next up is #5 Michigan State, who didn't look so great either, the game will be played in East Lansing Michigan, College Game Day will be there. The axiom is that the greatest improvement comes between game one and two, hope that's the case for the Ducks, the Spartan game is very big for Oregon's case for the playoffs, if we win that one, the season schedule plays out very nicely in the Ducks favor.

    Very sorry about LSU's cancelled game,.. gotta be disappointing for you Tiger fans,.. will they play that game during a bye week?
