Yeah, you're right, I don't have a clue what you are doing for a living. But if you were as good at your field as Crowton was at his, you wouldn't be posting on here.
It is highly unlikely that Crowton will be gone next year and I definately disagree that this season ended with Alabama.
Trust me, we aren't embarrassed tonight, USC is who is embarrassed! We did win so you might want to save this thread for next week or the week after. We haven't beaten Arkansas in a while! Not saying we are going to lose either of those games but we could!:insane: Btw, I had to do a double take, I thought ESPNU might have had the correct final score after all. Its not like the game didn't keep freezing up for some reason!
Save your breath. JohnLSU does not know how to criticize without turning it into a personal diatribe.
I don't know if anyone needs replacing but something is broke. We won and thats all that matters, but it sure was the hard way.
I guess I should have started with what I was embarrassed about: The fans. The booing. I expect more out of this team (the offense, really). How can anyone justify the talent we have on offense being ranked 105+ in the nation? Offensive changes every few years are good for teams. The game of football changes. New OCs create new situations for teams that aren't prepared for it. Look at Stanford. Few teams run a pure pro-style offense in the PAC-10, and they are succeeding with it. What Crowton ran worked well in 2007. It worked a little less last year. It just is not working this year. There is very little difference in the play-calling year-to-year. Crowton's offense is a mixed bag of stuff. He does not like to run the same thing twice or use the same personnel twice, which can be a fatal flaw. If one set works, why not use it again? Williams runs for 20 yards up the middle, and he comes out for the drive.
