exactly. people get cancer every single day. a few of them affect us, most don't. this one doesnt.

 

If I were her doctor I'd have my own lawyer draw up an ironclad waiver against suing me for any reason whatsoever for Edwards to sign before I would start treatment.

 

Sigh. I don't know why I even bother. Elizabeth Edward's cancer doesn't necessarily affect us but, since she is a quasi public figure and since her cancer has been made public, humans, being normally compassionate, caring
beings tend to associate their own experiences with her now publicized troubles. Christians (not you of course), under those circumstances will offer prayers on her behalf. Many Christians (my wife for instance) offer prayers daily for those people suffering the world over. These are anonymous people who are not in the news. Look up the word empathy .

 

how many celebrities do you have the empathy to spread around for? i see that vice presidential losers wives make the cut. what about washed up reality tv stars? d list actors? extras on movies you have never seen? how famous do they have to be to warrant mention?

i hope i can marry a woman who fails in a bid to take political power to in attempt to make the country worse. then if i get testicular cancer, you will pray for me by name, and i may get an advantage over the other randoms out there.

or does the lord not care if you mention the person by name? why not just pray "dear jeebus, please bless all the wretched celebrities i have not mentioned or researched properly". that would save you alot of time.

and martin there is no way to look into jane does feelings unless you are associated with her or she is on the news/newspapers. And many people feel the same empathy for them as well, it just would take up too much space on an LSU forum to mention all.

We could have a prayer forum but odds are you'd be there more than anyone looking for hope while acting an as*hole.

i hope your wishes sent to jeebus are respected by god, and he doesnt kill off this woman, but i also hope she doesnt get special protection over the other miserable suffering people worldwide, even though she has been mentioned by name and they havent, due to her famously being wrong about politics and husbands. i am sure god knows that your mentioning her by name is due to her notoriety from being married to an idiot and he will take that into account.

i am sure when you pray for her, god will assign a lower prayer-weight to her than those who are recievnig less prayer requets, in order that she doesnt get special treatment purely based on prayer quantity. although that might be a bit complicated, so i will throw in my help, and pray to god that he has the wisdom to be fair about doling out his prayer favors.

also i will pray to satan and god (to cover all bases) that your prays do not come true, and i will probably win, because i am incredibly skilled at wishing things at invisible beings. i can pray circles around you.

 

that would suck if you missed a chance to be empathetic. maybe they should have a national empathy news network where good people like you fellas could read the names of the afflicted and feel bad about it or whatever.
