That's why I am against allowing non property owners to vote on property tax propositions. A bunch of rentors can vote to increase taxes that they themselves don't have to pay.
cnn is so pathetic in reporting. Can't even report votes in without tacking on their dream outcome. All the hypothets ate tilted.
It's straight up income redistribution and being taken from people who work their asses off to buy a home in the first place. The thought of even more of my money going to public schools that are growing ESL classes and under-performing on almost every metric is too much to deal with.
