what happened was the media lied, and you latched on to it, now knowing the full quotes would fully exonerate trump from claims he supported white power clowns. then when those quotes were given to you, your argument changed to that even if he says exactly that he was supporting peaceful history fans, that he didnt mean that. the unfortunate bit is that the left claims he explicitly supported them and called them fine people. so you got stuck with their lies and had to balance between that claim and a different claim that by nature everyone who likes historical arifacts is a fucking asshole. you should have waited for the full context, then you would maybe could have avoided this catastrophic loss of an argument.
