While I generally agree with you, there are reasons to mandate vaccination for this. Look at the statistics on death rates between highly vaccinated states and those with less than 50% rate. The rate is 2-4 times higher in the areas that have low rates. While a tragedy, death isn’t the worst impact of low vaccination rates. Hospitals and ICUs in state like Idaho, Alaska, Montana throughout Trump country in fact are full and triaging people. The vast majority are unvaccinated. The numbers are pretty stark. Not only are most of those now sick and dying are Trump supporters but they are taking places from others in need. You’d think that Trump would encourage vaccination for preservation of his supporters.

While the US with a 50% vaccination rate is reporting 1500 deaths a day (running 7 day average), Uttar Pradesh is reporting less than 10!! IN fact they are reporting less cases per day than we are deaths per day. Ya wanna know what they are claiming saved the day?? IVERMECTIN!!
