Unfortunately I can’t argue with you about that.....is that the way you want our justice system to run? Because if so take a look at any country with an authoritarian system and see what partisan “justice” is really like.
Then you should stop with this notion that people have morals and that guides them. Last I checked Judges are Human too..... All morals are at the whim of the beholder.
No that way is the path to savagery. The whole reason for civilization is to develop morals to guide us to be better people. Yes judges are human as are priests, generals, presidents and legislators and share all the myriad faults ever dreamed of. If you don’t try to improve and overcome your faults then you’re not a boon to civilization but a hindrance. I’m sure you’ll laugh and be dismissive but the inspiration of Christianity over the last 2000 years has made us better and integrated with the ideals of the constitution has made the United States the that city on the hill that Reagan spoke of.
