Ah, you said around 20 years, or at least I thought you said that. There were a couple of el nino years where that vintage will be, or already is absolutely amazing. I really don't know wines to that degree, particularly French wines, but I do like to enjoy wines from different regions. Turns out, there are some amazing wines from the deserts of Arizona and New Mexico. I've found that harsh regions that challenge the grapes make for excellent wines. A lot smoother than you would think. I don't like wines all littered in spices.

When was Boone's Farms introduced? My fuzzy memory doesn't recall it.

I think I did say about 20 years. When CO asked I thought about it more closely. I know less about wines than you probably. To me if it’s not vinegar or grape juice it’s good.

Been there. Met his wife. You leave the dopey fan shit outside on a slow day and she'll give you her mind all day. Super down to earth so long as you don't provoke. Saw that in a customer behind us and she was quick to dismiss. We just wanted to sample and buy. That got us over an hour on a slow day and we were the ones who shut it down.

Wine is expensive. I stray from the expensive bottles because I can not capture the value in taste or experience. Bought a bottle of Judith, but what I really like are balsamic vinagars from wineries. That's my thing right there.

Yeah that is what I've heard. If you want to chill and talk wine they welcome you like family. Mention a band and you are shunned.

I personally don't drink wine, tried many times and just don't have the palette for it.

I don't drink it much either. My girl does so we go to wineries and I aim to please. It really has to be a special wine for me to enjoy. I do have a collection which is odd for a dude who doesn't drink it much, but I do pride on bringing a good paired wine to a dinner invite.

But like I said, balsamic is my deal and I will not hesitate to drop a hundo in a 50 year old reduced modeno and pour it on ice cream. I'll buy good balsamics from wineries, reduce them and bottle that as gifts. If you ever receive a gift from me, it's hand made. Always.

I know what you mean. I always keep my bar stocked with an assortment for guest that enjoy it. I have no freaking clue what in the hell I'm buying, usually pick it by the coolness of the label. Few reds, couple whites and a bottle or two of bubbly.

Now bourbons, thats my jam. Picked up a bottle of Elija Craig just yesterday and it is very good!
