Mail-in is inherently less safe. Its like the gun argument. If a gun is in the home you are more likely to be shot by than gun than not having one in it. Now, like mail in voting you can have safety procedures in place like responsible gun owners can do as well, but the risk still remains. The key to safe voting is eliminating risks. When you add new ways to vote you add new risks.

what's throwing a fuck into things is paying attention to when the mail-in ballot is postmarked,.. our's clearly state, "mail this at least 5 days before the election", to ensure it arrives at the voter's county courthouse in time to be counted,.. it has to arrive before the polls close on election day, period, that's the law.. ... states like nevada and north carolina are being too soft about it, they're trying to coddle lazy voters,.. it's the voter's responsibility to get their vote in on time mail-in is not a new way to vote, this is my state's 11th national election using it,.. with not a peep of controversy it's simple, the states where the current mess is,.. they did a shitty job of setting up their early vote/mail-in vote systems now that there's a fucking mess,.. lawsuits demanding investigation seem like a very fair and appropriate thing to do, a stink needs to be made about it, this shit needs to be examined closely I'd bet in two years, when the next national is, a lot of the states mail-in vote procedures will be cleaned up
