Sure, but it benefits most players to get older, smarter, bulk up and add a year of Moffitt strength and conditioning before getting on the field in the SEC.

 

He weighs in at 308 pounds. With Ferguson (309) unavailable, Bain is now the second heaviest defensive player on the roster, behind fellow freshman Greg Gilmore (311). So, bulk isn't an issue. As far as the strength and conditioning go, as well as getting smarter for that matter, he has been in the program an entire season. Granted, he may make a few rookie mistakes if he's called upon, but don't doubt his readiness. If he proves to be incapable, he probably doesn't have what it takes to make it at all...ever.
