he may have, but i think we had a great game plan, we just got very, very, unlucky. 9 out of 10 times we win that game, imo.

i liked a lot of what i saw. i would be very interested in what he could put together given the time most head coaches are given.

Yet more common sense here. If most on this board were in Aleeva spot it would change coaches once a year maybe every 6 months. Miles had 12 O a month and a half.

Yr incorrigible. The only reason he was even considered is because he was on staff. His resume wouldn't have gotten him an interview. He had to show something incredible. His three toughest tests are Bama, UF, and A&M. So far 0-2.

OK professor how does Hermans resume stack up to O this year? How does Jimbos stack up to O this year?

I'm ok with Herman's losses in light of everything swirling around him. Jimbo is being considered for his offensive acumen. I've said I'm not the biggest fan, but I can accept that he might have success. I also wouldn't hate Eaux with the right OC, but you're unwilling to acknowledge any criticism of the man. I'd be looking hard at up and comers also.

If you aren't willing to say you aren't 100% right at all times, why would anyone want to talk to you? You're burning through olive branches Cochise.

He was thinking "man did I ever screw LSU with my QB recruits, I really humped them when I allowed Chavis to pork up defense in 2 home games where I was beating Alabama in the last part of the game. What was I thinking when I kept that NFL idiot Cameron around when he always makes players fit his system, and not other way around. Cant believe I screwed up recruitment of Patterson and Prescott, cant believe I let La. best get out of the state again and again. What was I thinking when I thought all we needed on offense was to turn around and give the ball to a once in a generation RB, the likes I will probably never see again. I cant believe the number of prople that didn't see I put LSU on a death bed in New Orleans. Wow I f&$ked LSU over but they paid me." Yesterday sucks, I am an Orgeron fan, wish they would give him a chance with his own people. Dont need to blow up defense staff, offense another story. Fisher to me can win when everything goes right, this year he is certainly no better than Orgeron. We blow up this recruit class if Orgeron gets canned. Bad day all around.

So Herman gets a pass because of things "swirling" around him? Oh yeah O has nothing "swirling" around him such as having to coach Miles team "all of a sudden" and having to promote your TE coach to OC and try to satisfy offense hungry fans who have no understanding that you just cant "all of a sudden" have a fancy dynamic offense and at the same time fighting game to game for his job. Herman has no excuse what so ever for losing to Navy and SMU. If you and others cant understand that and are so cluless that you cant see our players lost the game yesterday not the coaches. Fumbles and muffed snaps are not poor coaching unless it happens every game and that is not the case here. Emsmingers game plan was great yesterday and our defense other than one poor CB play and one drive was winning football.
