I can definitely understand that side of it. Mike Leach's offenses do not reflect the manner in which he speaks though. There was always a direct relationship between Miles' offense and the complete stupidity that was ever-present whenever he opened his mouth.

 

A win today shouldn't have even been considered exceptional.

 

I agree, I was mainly ranting on the guys who said we weren't ready to play, etc, etc.

 

No, Reese closed as an Air Force Base in 1997. It was a casualty of the end of the Cold War. Now it's used by the local Junior College and also as a Police Training Facility. The old runways are used by the local truck driving school and also by remote controlled miniature airplane enthusiasts.

 

True, but winning out in impressive fashion might have been considered exceptional. But it didn't happen....

 

Thanks for the input. We definitely need someone that gels with the administration. I care more about the coach's on-field abilities though, rather than his proclivity to please the media.

 

No one demands perfection. We demand a competent offense that can beat a 2nd team defense at home.
