To quote the great "iron Mike" everybody has plan until they get punched in the mouth" we beat Gerogia and this team will believe they can be Bama and that is all we need. Then Caoch Eaux can tell the world F em...
If "the it factor" can be defined as being a "character" then Oeaux has "it." He is definitely a character. The sports media loves characters, both to build them up and to tear them down. At this point they are making excuses for his winning. Start losing and they will rip him apart like a pack of hungry wolves. Keep winning and he will be a media darling.
The only thing the media cares about is storylines that will bring the most views and clicks. It's all about the $$. Wasn't Hitler Time Magazine's man of the year before WWII?
I heard George Schroeder (writes for USA Today) on the radio this morning talking about the rankings. He said and I quote "OU would beat LSU by three touchdowns" I just laughed. Oh George.
I've said on here that I think LSU will never win a championship with Ed Orgeron as their coach. I thought they would beat Miami and lose to Auburn, so I'm happy I was wrong about that. I think they are better than I thought they would be this season so that's good. I still can't see any way in hell they get through Florida, Georgia, Miss St, Bama, and Texas A&M with fewer than 2 losses, which would be a good season. To do that, the offense will have to improve, though. The stats do matter when you play the upper echelon team. You aren't gonna beat every team coming back from 11 down in the 4th quarter. But the pressure really begins next year when you are coming off of a possible access bowl win this season with almost everybody coming back. 9-3 or 10-2 won't be good enough next year.
