Right! The people who don't need it should get help and the ones that need it should do without. :rolleye33: Most of the money is going to folks in between those two categories, fortunately
its not intended to be fair. its intended to boost the economy, and they are giving it to those that will most likely spend it. i would think though that the low income individuals would be more likely to use it to pay down debt---wouldnt think that would have the intended boost. also, everyone, dont forget that about half of the package is going to tax breaks for small businesses.
That does make sense; however, I've studied the "culture of poverty" through several classes, and in fact, low income individuals tend to spend unexpected windfall on luxury purchases and think little of paying down their own debts. My in-laws are exactly like that.
Just wait till the senate gets through with this bill. Nothing like giving free money away during an election year.
