Actually I thought Jimbo called a good game. We just couldn't find the clearly open receivers and the secondary wasn't doing their job today either. Even though the defense did an over all good job holding Auburn to 10 points at their place! Our offensive execution is what sucks. I say Jimbo did very good today.
As bad as this sucks for us, its gotta be a thousand times worse for Doucet. Sooner or later (hopefully sooner), we'll pull it together on offense and one play gone wrong won't be such a huge deal.
First off, it wasn't Early that the penalty was called on, it was Prude, get it right. Second off, no single player on this team lost the game for us. It was a team effort. Geekboy, I don't necessarily think it was the quarterbacks not being able to find the open receivers, I think it was their inability to get it there. I have never seen a game where the QB just couldn't hit the open receiver time after time just because of innaccuracy.
Hester was recruited as a full back and will play full back. Vincent gives you big play ability, the two are very different and play different roles on the team.
This is a prime example of the type of buttplug material that makes people shoot themselves in the head. Early wasn't on the field for the PAT and the ball was thrown behind him on the last play....he had an awesome game if u ask me and to be as cliche as possible....U WIN AS A TEAM AND U LOSE AS A TEAM. I normally never get on anyone on this board, but I felt the quoted stupidity was worthy of a good verbal lashing. It won't happen too much more. Way to support the TEAM moron.... o: :angryfire :cuss:
Early didn't get the penalty on the extra point it was misread... it was actually Ronnie Prude (#8) for jumping into the line to try to block the kick. Early tried to catch the pass it was just deflected and was intercepted. He's still going to be great...
