I like the way the purple jerseys look, but I like being different even more--which is what the white jerseys do. They give sports announcers one more tradition to talk about when televising a game. Free publicity--and not because we have ugly uniforms like Oregon wears.

And I love the purple and gold combination. They look great together.

IMHO they just don't wear well on the fans. Sorry, but my wife agrees.

Yeah, great idea. And then we can get rid of that tired old Tiger nickname and let Auburn be the Tigers or PlainEagleWarriors or whatever. The University of Idaho is called the Vandals. I's sure Auburn fans would fear us more if we were the Vandals. And while were at it why not sell all the buildings on campus except for the sports facilities and put all the money into football. Students don't need a campus in the 21st century. We could be an online college like the University of Phoenix.
