That's what I was thinking, an older injury just not 100%. Rumors were he was on crutches a while ago for a few days.
No time to cry about it as kickoff is only 3 hours away. I just see it as an opportunity for our HS All Americans Doucet and Carter to step up and shine.
When I first started reading this, it reminded me of the "Mauck is out" rumors circulating before the Sugar Bowl. I'd still like to bash somebody's head in for starting THAT rumor. Despite our depth at WR, this is a big loss. Not the end of the world though. Ironic b/c my buddy and I were just talking about how crazy it is for Doucet to be the number FOUR WR...
i think it will be fine. he was really our number 3 wr anyways. Has the most potential on the team but still behind Davis and a healthy green because of the drops. He will be back and we don't wanna push it.
