Who has seen it and what did you think? Saw it today. Loved it. Nolan is brilliant. I see an Oscars sweep for whatever that's worth.
I will probably go see it either this weekend or next weekend. Cillian Murphy and Tom Hardy are probably my favorite actors right now. So it's a must see.
Note to LaSalle.....because I know you can appreciate it. This is not your typical formulaic movie. It's basic brilliant film-making. Minimal script, really no character development, emphasis not on acting, and yet it's an outstanding movie. Sound editing and camera work is amazing. If you liked what Hardy did in Dark Knight, then this should surpass that in spades. This....is pretty much it. And yet you get pulled in completely to "his" story.
Been kind hooked on Hardy's movies since Lawless. That movie was that tits. Phenominol work in mad Max, but Dunkirk is a flick I wanna see on principal alone. Glad he is part of it.
