It wasn't just that article. I looked up several stories and noticed that the video segment that news stations aired were clipped to show just the water dumping and not the faces of those involved nor the dialogue prior to or after the event. So when it's white people, that is front and center but when it's black people, we don't bring that up.
I mean think about it. Is that wrong, I think so, I’m agreeing with you. But I understand the why behind it. I don’t like the why, but I get it. If you want clicks and likes what enrages people is what’s gonna get that for you and let’s be honest, it’s not as sensational a story with those hot button issues when you add those factors in. If the race roles were reversed it wouldn’t have surprised me if there would have been a hate crime filed.
