This is from Monday's hunt (5 hollywoods, 2 bwt, 1 wigeon, 1 Cinnamon teal) Better shot of the Cinnamon. This is the only time I have ever shot one. It was a pretty young bird and didn't have full colors yet. I was a little relieved because the taxidermy bill is getting a little heavy this year.
I wish. Of all the dang ducks I've ever shot I still have yet to get a band. The first duck I bagged was a hen blue wing teal, when I was 16. It was missing the bottom half of one leg, and I suspect may have had a band on it at some point.
My nephew and his dad went to North La this past weekend and had a great hunt. Best pic, IMO, of the hunt:

British Lab. He is young, but has an awesome nose and really responds to my nephew. His dad could not believe how well the dog (Gunner) hunted.
