    It could happen.

I was dove hunting once and I shot this bird and can only summize that a single pellet made it into the birds head because it went into this hummingbird type of hover. I shot at it a couple more times to no avil, still hovering. It was only about 12' off the ground so by now I'm jumping in the air swinging my shot gun at it trying to swat it out of the sky. Hunters around the perimeter of the field are now rolling on the ground laughing at me and I'm phucking pissed because this stupid bird will not fall.

    I miss those days.

    Man, that is awesome!

Only other thing that comes close for me is when i was hunting with my uncle and we had just unloaded and dropped some gadwalls. As soon as we finished shooting he spotted some teal coming in. We only had enough time to slap 1 shell in each. We both shot and 5 teal rained down. Pretty dang cool.

Great story. Always love to hear about kids and even better when females fall in line. Course I've often wondered if it's better to have a wife join or if it's better she stays back so there is quality time AWAY from one another too.

Anyway, your niece is very cute (warm smile) and looks like a real sweet kid.

I have a question for all you duck hunters, my bf has been talking about "Texas decoys"? Or something with Texas for his decoys. Anyway, anyone have any idea what this is and where I can get him some? His birthday is soon and I thought about hooking him up, I tried google and get a million different things. He talks like its something that goes on his decoys........help appreciated.

Texas rags? Maybe. Does he hunt geese?

That's all a household needs is two on the rag. Here's a link.
