Right. And since those are the only problems EVER on a rig no need to do a thorough inspection to check for safety compliance where ever possible.:rolleye33:

How long would this country last if we allowed the liberal environmentalists to take over?

    1 month?
    6 months?
    1 year?

I can't imagine it would be much more than that. Maybe we could find a spot (like Greenland...appropriately named) and let all the "man-made" global warming nuts, "so-called" scientists, Al Gore, Greenpeace, ALF, ELF, "carbon footprint", ACLU, etc. types go live in peace.

They wouldn't need anything as they claim to commit to not destroying the Earth. We could drop them off and let them be happy.

Ooops...my mistake. I forgot they won't be happy until they dictate how all the rest of us live. Good luck with that one you liberal freaks!

that's why the US closed all elevated highways and bridges when that Bridge in Minnesota collapsed.

oh, wait. that didn't happen either.

The oil hasn't made it's way west to Texas but we have several people on this site who live in/around Houston. What are you hearing there in oil country about the moratorium, etc.?

Does this have minimal impact as they also drill on land? Medium impact? Significant impact? Is anyone there talking about the long term effects?

Yeah, we just let that 2 million gallons of (insert something unpleasant that may result from a bridge collapse and has the potential to devastate an ecosystem here) spew forth unrenlentlessly EVERY DAY.

Oh wait, that wasn't a problem, was it?

    Try making some relevant comparisons.

False. You compared him to a cheerleader and argued that he has no real authority to do anything.

wrong, i asked what you guys expected him to do, somebody said i expect him to cheerlead, i said that was absurd. please use your eyes when you read.

also, i asked what authority he has because i was genuinely curious what you morons expect him to do.

you mocked obama for doing nothing, i asked what exactly you expected him to do, you had no real answer. you dont ever really say anything, you just cower and misrepresent.

show me the quotes if you want to address what i have said.

    actual relevant quote:

my response: "it is sad and pathetic that you think this is the president's job......i said before i think it is pathetic that you require any cheerleading from your leaders."

so i said explicitly the opposite of what you claim. try harder to not be a miserable idiot.

also from those quotes i just read in your sig 99, i think are you are too emotionally weak to discuss things. this is supported by the last time we discussed something, i dismantled you, and then you refused to discuss it, saying you are not one of my "dance partners". like i said before, you snipe and then have your feelings hurt because you are wrong, then you withdraw.

also i think it is pretty pathetic that a mod of all people has a sig meant to take shots at another member. for chrissakes have a spine.
